It's 1929 and this large pig seems content to let three little barefoot boys take a rest from swimming at Mt. Clear Lake in Sheridan County, Mont. The boys (l to r) are Leo R. Chapman, Milo Chapman and Kenneth Chapman. The family moved to Weippe in 1938. Leo and Kenneth still reside in Weippe. Milo died several years ago. Besides these three, the Chapman family consisted of three other boys, Buddy, Howard and Harold and five girls, Luella, Lillian, Lucille (Pollen), Mabel Ann (Steadman) both of Weippe and Barbara Jean, who was born in Clearwater County.
